Tang – Been A While ft DJ Raiko [prod by Thir[13]teen]

Putting together Pocket Full of Ideas, the soon to be released Emcee/ Producer album by Tang and Thir[13]teen has been a long journey. This song is the first glimpse that the world gets to take into the project and it gives the listener a good idea of what to expect from the duo when the full project is released.

‘Been A While’ is a straightforward single where Tang (@tang1632), who has not been a feature on the music scene for the past 6 years, tells us about his unintended sabbatical and announces his second coming. Thir[13]teen’s (@13beats_) production on the song makes the perfect setting for the bold re-entry that the duo is embarking on. The song features scratches by DJ Raiko (@raikomyman), a stalwart of the South African hip hop  community, who is a master of his craft.
